The verdict
Springbank does everything in-house, from floor malting to bottling, and you can taste that hands-on approach. The 10-year-old is the entry point, but there's nothing basic about it.
That signature "funk" of oily, coastal, slightly earthy notes makes it endlessly interesting. Good luck finding it at shelf price.
