The verdict
James Eadie was a 19th-century Burton-on-Trent brewer who also blended whisky. His great-great-grandson revived the brand and recreated the old "Trade Mark X" blend from the archives.
It's a malt-heavy blend with plenty of body, and a great argument that blends deserve more respect.
